Horseback Rides in Sedona - Rockin River Ranch along the Verde River

At the historic Rockin’ River Ranch, we offer trail rides along the banks of the beautiful Verde River, one of the last free-flowing rivers in the desert Southwest.

This diverse riparian habitat is rich in wildlife, frequented by elk, deer, javelina, bald eagles, and great blue herons. In the summertime, grand old cottonwood trees provide a shady canopy for much of our ride.

Our daily, meal or private rides are available to all of our guests subject only to certain age and health restrictions.The minimum riding age for trail rides is 8 years old and everyone must pass orientation. We do offer riding helmets if you ask for them.
